THE FINE PRINT
Terms of Service
Updated 2026-07-17The short version
- You must be 18 or older. No exceptions, no maybes.
- The score is a joke about style and vibe. It says nothing about who you are.
- Scan your own face, or a face whose owner said yes. That promise is on you.
- US users settle disputes one on one through arbitration, not in a class action.
Who can use GayLab
GayLab is for adults. You must be 18 or older, and every scan restates what you confirm on the consent screen: you are 18 or older, the face is yours (or, in a Same Room battle, everyone in the shot is right there and in on it), and you understand the whole thing is a comedic novelty.
What GayLab is
GayLab is an entertainment app. The AI verdict is fictional comedy about style and vibe, generated for laughs and for nothing else.
Novelty item. Not a measure of identity, orientation, or worth. We print that sentence right here and on every certificate, because we mean it.
Your photo, your promise
When you add a photo, by camera or upload, you represent that it shows you, or that you have clear permission from the person it shows. Scanning someone without their permission breaks these terms.
That promise is yours to keep. If someone brings a claim against GayLab because you scanned a face without permission, you agree to indemnify GayLab and cover the resulting costs.
Battles and Same Room
Battles pit two faces against each other for a crown. Same Room is camera-only on purpose: it scores the people physically in front of the phone, who can see the screen and agree to play, so you cannot drop in a saved photo of someone who is not there. Long Distance battles scan each player on their own device.
A battle keeps small thumbnails for 48 hours so the shared verdict page works, then deletes them automatically. Want one gone sooner? Anyone who played in the battle can open its page and tap Delete to remove it and its thumbnails right away.
The service, as-is
GayLab is provided as-is and as-available. We do not guarantee the app will be up, that the AI will behave, or that the joke will land. Scores are generated by an AI, they can differ between scans of the same face, and they mean nothing.
Liability cap
To the fullest extent the law allows, GayLab's total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid GayLab in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.
Disputes, for US users
If you use GayLab from the United States, you and GayLab agree to resolve any dispute through binding individual arbitration under the AAA consumer arbitration rules, instead of going to court. Either side may still bring an individual claim in small-claims court.
You may opt out of arbitration by emailing support@gaylab.ai within 30 days of first accepting these terms. The written notice needs your name and a clear statement that you are opting out.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes are resolved individually: no class actions, no class-wide arbitration, and both sides waive a jury trial.
If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are filed by or with the same counsel, the parties agree the demands will be batched and resolved in staged groups under the AAA batching procedures.
Operator and housekeeping
GayLab is an independently operated entertainment app. Contact: support@gaylab.ai.
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the current version. If you keep using GayLab after a change, the new terms apply.
GayLab is not available in the EU or EEA, the UK, Switzerland, or the US states of Illinois, Texas, and Washington. If you are in one of those places, the service is not offered to you.
