Biometric Consent & Retention

- Your face is read in memory for one scan and never kept by us.
- The verdict deletes itself after 24 hours, or up to 7 days if you unlock or purchase. The consent record lasts 3 years. That is the whole inventory.
- You must be 18 or older, and the face must be yours or its owner said yes.
What you agree to when you scan
When you run a scan, a photo of your face (or a face whose owner said yes) is sent to our AI providers for a comedy read of style and vibe. Nothing else happens to it.
You also confirm that you are 18 or older. GayLab does not scan minors, full stop.
What happens to face data
Your photo is processed in memory for the one scan, and then it is gone. We keep no photo, no face template, and no face geometry. Nothing biometric remains on our side after the scan ends.
Our AI providers keep short abuse-monitoring logs, described in the Privacy Policy. Those logs exist for platform safety, not for training or profiling.
Retention and destruction schedule
The photo: gone when the scan finishes.
The verdict text: kept for 24 hours under a random ID, or up to 7 days if you unlock or purchase, then deleted automatically.
The consent event (a timestamp and a hashed IP): kept for 3 years, then deleted.
Battle thumbnails: kept for 48 hours, disclosed at the time, then deleted.
A forfeited challenger's own score and title, with no photo: kept up to 72 hours, then deleted.
The certificate photo: opening a certificate checkout stores a small copy of your photo with your result so the PDF can include it, whether or not you finish the purchase. It deletes with the result, within 7 days at most.
Where GayLab is not offered
GayLab does not operate in the EU or EEA, the UK, Switzerland, or the US states of Illinois, Texas, and Washington. This document does not create rights in those places, because the service is not offered there.
